Our group thoroughly enjoyed the day in the Medoc. Of course the visit to the vineyards and a tour of the various rooms where wine is made and stored met expectations.
\nThe added twist of getting an insider’s look at the properties and the processes made for a superb day trip through the area. The fun of playing at being winemakers and blending varietals for ourselves was such an unusual and fun hands-on activity that we all want to go back to Bordeaux just to do that again.<\/p>\n

Our thanks to Frederic for sharing his knowledge of the region, the wine industry and the cuisine with us so generously.
\nThanks to him we all felt that we had made the most of our very short stay in the Medoc.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

The perfect guided tour for 3 Australian sisters who didn’t know much about French wine. Frederic was the perfect guide from the start. Picking us up from the hotel he gave us some interesting facts about Bordeaux.<\/p>\n

Our first stop at the lovely La Rose Monturon where the owner Stephane graciously hosted us and taught us about the wine making process. Next we make our way up the hill of Saint Emilion to the beautiful Le Chatet, our favorite of the bunch. We than have a lovely lunch in the village before strolling through and of course sampling the macarons, yum! Our last stop, chateau laniote St Emilion, where our host impressed us with his wine and magic tricks. Frederic thank you for being the perfect gentleman, his love and passion for wine gave us an experience we will never forget!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

We spent two days with Frederic visiting the left and right banks of the Bordeaux region. Frederic is positively the nicest and most accommodating host we have experienced.<\/p>\n

His relationships with the various chateaux in the area enabled us to visit some that we would never have been able to get into. He custom designed itineraries based on our interest and even made last minute changes for us to see things he knew we would love. Frederic is charming, funny and very knowledgeable about wine and wine making. I would highly recommend him to both novice and experienced wine tasters. What a fun few days we had in this beautiful slice of the world!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
